Further Information
9 to 5 in Dreamland is from a very old sketch (c.2014) and didn't really go anywhere for many years. Often Clementine is known to put plates away half finished only to pick them up and finish them when the theme is relevant to personal circumstances.
Ikiryō or living ghost is a popular belief in Japan that during times of great stress or crisis, a great need for someone or from intense revenge a spirit leaves the body of a living person and haunts other people or places. In legends it is often women who haunt their lovers or ex lovers whilst they believe themselves asleep.
The title comes from a period of spending a lot of time in bed whereby the artist was told she would not succeed as an artist if she spent her 9 to 5 in Dreamland.

Most of my work is in black and white but coloured work might change slightly from screen to real life. I cannot control these changes and do my best to represent the most true colour I can on upload to my shop.
